This is absolutely one of the most saturate and incredible pink/red spinels I have ever seen. It is from a 52 kilo single crystal spinel found by a farmer tilling his fields in Tanzania. For those of us who do not think in Kilos, that is over 114 pounds... Click here to see the movie!

.74ct F-I1 frustrating grade easy SI2 at GIA

Here is another of those over tightly graded diamonds that I feel would easily get an SI2 at the GIA. AGS Excellent cut grade for minor symmetry fault, but AGS 0 light performance. Of course this is just my opinion, super bargain for someone! video of .74 F-I1 that should be SI2 in my opinion Wink

Frustration over too tight grading

This is a completely eye clean diamond, at least to my old eyes, that I received with an I1 grade this morning. I have three stones that are MUCH worse in house with SI1-SI3 grades that a client wants to look at. (Big and Cheap with EGL grades that are as much too loose as this is too tight) Out of doors it displays a very light bluish tint as a result of strong blue fluorescence and from a pavilion view one can just barely distinguish some of the inclusions, but because they are transparent crystals, they actually appear as sparkly dots rather than black. Sometimes I wish Paul from Infinity would use GIA, this would clearly be an SI2 with them. I think this pictures is about 30 to 40 times. Wink
